Birthday parties

Thomley Activity Centre is a popular and fully inclusive venue for birthday parties. All parties include recreational use of the site; indoor and outdoor play, craft room, music room, soft play and the canteen. Art and craft activities can be tailored to specific themes if required.

Prices (for 20 children)

  • £100 for a 2 hour party (10.30am-12.30pm or 1.00pm-3.00pm). Includes 1 session (30 minutes) sensory room use
  • £120 for a full day party (10.00am-3.30pm). Includes 2 sessions (1 hour) sensory room use
  • £120 for an after-school party (4.00pm - 6.00pm). Includes 1 session (30 minutes) sensory room use
  • For over 20 children, we recommend a donation of £6 for every additional child
  • Thomley reserves the right to ask for additional donation if parties run past 6.00pm.

Food & drinks

  • Tea and squash are provided for free.
  • All party food, party bags and cake must be organised and supplied by your group. If you need help to prepare your party food, Rachael is one of our local mums and runs a local free range and organic catering company. Email her on canapereds@btinternet.com or call 07834 360261.

Booking a party

Unfortunately exclusive use of the site cannot be guaranteed.

  • All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Birthday party hosts will need to ensure that all accompanying adults are fully aware of the ‘Responsibilities of parents and carers’, (see ‘Booking conditions’).
  • All bookings must be made in advance on the forms below. Please check availability before bringing additional children.
  • 25% of the recommended donation is required as a deposit to secure your booking. Confirmation and a full non-refundable donation for the party is required 14 days prior to the party.
  • Families with disabled children can hold birthday parties on any Saturday, apart from the last Saturday of the month which is a party-free zone. Parties can also be held during school holidays.
  • Families without disabled children can hold birthday parties after school and on ‘Community days’ (i.e. 1st Saturday of the month and toddler days).
